Henry here:

Yep, I can walk on water. Now don’t get all literal with me. My human mummy tells me I’m actually walking on a tube, that is being pulled on a boat, that is on the water. But, I’m a dog and I need to be concise. I’m walking on water!

My human mummy loves Shakespeare. She has a mirror etched with a Shakespeare quote in our hallway:

There is a tide in the our affairs1

Which taken at the flood, leads on to fortune;
Omitted, all the voyage of their life
Is bound in shallows and in miseries.
On such a full sea are we now afloat,
And we must take the current when it serves,
Or lose our ventures.

So on this fun Friday, you can be all philosophical or you just smile watching me, Henry, surf the waves! Have fun! Enjoy your weekend, and take the current when it surfs.

Love, Henry (April’s Dog)

Paperdolls ~Today (Paperdolls & Cowboy Boots Book)
Puppy Love
Writing about sexual assault, even with healing and hope as the premise, is a heavy subject. It needs to be discussed and brought to light. However, I must practice what I preach and "not gaze into the abyss"( Nietzsche) too long. Hence the launch of this separate newsletter, "Puppy Love."
