Henry Here:

Remember a couple of weeks ago when my human, April, offered a free book to everyone who told her about a “Random Act of Kindness” they had done? Well, that was awesome because kindness is the way.

Since I prefer bully sticks above books, although it is fun to chomp on the pages, my human gave me a bully stick for being extra kind.

First, I went to the assisted living place and made everyone there happy. This happiness gig is great. I get pets, they smile and everyone is happy!

Me (Henry) at the Assisted Living place, giving everyone smiles by letting them pet me.

Then, over Labor Day, I was the Captain of the Boat.

That same day, I even saved one of my friends. It’s all recorded in the video at the top of this post. I extended my paw, pulled her in, and then kissed her all over her face. I asked our tech guy to blur out her face, cuz I’m a gentleman. And, I would never reveal a damsel in distress’s identity — without her consent.

A bully stick for an act of kindness. Plus I get all sorts of snuggles and pets and even got to play on the boat. This kindness thing is golden! Be kind everyone!

Love, Henry1

Puppy Love
Writing about sexual assault, even with healing and hope as the premise, is a heavy subject. It needs to be discussed and brought to light. However, I must practice what I preach and "not gaze into the abyss"( Nietzsche) too long. Hence the launch of this separate newsletter, "Puppy Love."
