Last summer, I gave away free copies of Paperdolls & Cowboy Boots to any of our subscribers who shared a story of a random act of kindness they’d done. Here is another true act of kindness:
After I’d cleaned out a closet, I found a nice, but rarely worn coat. I put it in my car, so that the next time I was near the Salvation Army, I could drop it off. A couple of days later, I was stopped at an intersection when I young man walked by with a blanket around his shoulders. I quickly pulled over and asked him if he wanted the coat.
He beamed as he walked over to get the coat. He immediately put it on and I drove off.
