An Act of Kindness

Last summer, I gave away free copies of Paperdolls & Cowboy Boots to any of our subscribers who shared a story of a random act of kindness they’d done. Here is another true act of kindness:
A neighbor in my apartment building lost his cat. The cat escaped when a delivery guy brought in a big box.
We found “Gilbert” on the floor above us, hiding behind a plant.
The kitty must have used the stairs or the elevator. My neighbor was so relieved, he was teary. Although I missed my coffee date that morning, it was worth it to see his relief.
