Thank you! I’m reviewing the requests for the free book now. There were quite a few that don’t want to subscribe, or can’t afford it right now, and I’m confident they’ll get the book for free.
One question Parker brought up: 1
What if some co-dependent well wisher ordered a free copy of the book for someone else they thought needed it?
UGH! I didn’t even think of that. Co-dependents do that frequently.2
I didn’t forsee this. And, I don’t want to pester the survivors who were brave enough to reach out and request the book. If any of you, my beloved survivors, have any feedback on this, I’d appreciate it.
I think I’m going to send the books regardless, with a note at the end that says, “If you didn’t request this book, please return at your convenience. We apologize for the intrusion.”
Just a thought. Again, let me know if you have ideas.
Thank you all, so very much! Happy Birthday to us all!
You’ll read about him more in Paperdolls & Cowboy Boots
In my twenty’s I was very prone to handing out books I thought others needed or wanted. It was one of the things that Karen Fisher noted, I was giving out books and advice I needed.
