Music is a constant in my life. I think if I lost music it would be like losing air. My grandparents sang and played music throughout their lives. I have fond memories of cozy winter evenings with a fire crackling, listening to an opera or classical music on their turntable.
When I took road trips with them to visit their sons out of state, they'd sing together as we drove. Both were in the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. In Norway, my grandfather fell in love with my grandmother when he heard her singing in church. 1
After I wrote about the song "Unreconciled," I received feedback about other music. We are planning to add music to the audio version of Paperdolls & Cowboy Boots. I'd love your input on music that inspires you, comforts you, and soothes your soul.
Please let me know! Music is so important, and speaks a language that bonds us. I'd love your input. It's okay if it's recently released music, we will try to get the rights to it and add it. 2

Thank you so much!!!!
Norway, 1917-1919, while the Sacrament as being passed, music was played. My grandmother soloed in Bergen, and my grandfather fell in love. He joked that he spoke at her branch often, just to hear her sing. Later he admitted it was much more than her voice he loved. When she died, he cried that she's the only one he'd ever kissed.
I think there are many artists who are sympathetic to our cause, and would be open to letting us use their work. We might have to pay them a usage fee, which is only fair. But, we need to know what music touches your soul so we can approach that artist.
