Understandable! My 2nd therapist (after Karen Fisher died) did her doctoral dissertation on the Mother-Daughter relationship. I read it, and one of the key points was that the Mother-Daughter relationship is one of the most complex relationships in human interactions.
Now, considering that's the basic foundation with daughters and mother, then add to it abuse, denial, etc., oh my. It makes total sense it would be a head trip for you. So glad you are free.
